Alrighty everybody, usually we would go on another rant and argument
about a topic for your entertainment…but tonight we want to take a special
moment and have a shout out for a beautiful girl in need. Her name is Sheridan
Edwards. She has just been in a terrible car accident and is in ICU suffering
major injuries. As this tragedy occurred there is was only one thing that
everyone could do: pray.
Over the last couple of days it has been a phenomenal of a
sight to see what our little town of Kingsport has done for this girl. This
town has come together as one and has been standing by her side in hopes of her
recovering. Rival schools and people that do not even know her has even saw how
painful this is to everyone in the community and has been sending their prayers
for her and her family. These prayers have been sent out not only over the
community, but online with the social network for the world to see. Twitter and
Facebook has both been blown away by people constantly sending out their
prayers for her. Pray for Shay is the tag, and I’m sure to whoever is reading
this that is a part of this community has seen it.
Not only has this affected the entire community as a whole…but
it has also gathered worldwide attention. It has reached the worldwide trending feed on
Twitter at one point, with celebrities even retweeting these prayers for her.
Kevin Durant the NBA player, musician Patrick Droney, and even hip-hop artist
Drake in the middle of his concert in Nashville sent a shout out to her. Pray
for Shay is more than just a simple prayer; it has become a ray of hope and a
symbol for a brave girl fighting to live. As the circle of people standing for
Sheridan gets bigger each day, we hope to see more good signs to come and
ultimately, a recovery.
So with all of this said, we would like to say that we too,
August Aguilar and Jon Lynch are here praying for you Sheridan. We know how
hard this must be for the family and friends around you, but stay strong. You
have more than just your loved ones here for you. You have this community, this
state, this nation, and we are all trying to get this world to see you better.
#Pray for Shay
